The vision for our Trust is:
"Securing the future for the young people in all our schools"
The Tenterden Schools Trust was launched in December 2016, it has brought together the four schools in Tenterden.
We aim to provide a seamless and coherent learning experience from 0 – 19, working together to provide world class education for all our students.
The Federation between Tenterden Infant School and Tenterden Church of England Junior School is committed to providing the highest quality of teaching and learning experiences underpinned by effective and inspirational leadership. Through working together, within a culture of high expectation and continual improvement, both schools will aspire to excellence: individually; together; as part of the Tenterden Schools Trust.
We believe that within our two happy, stimulating communities where all children are nurtured within a strong and caring ethos and where Christian values are encouraged at the Junior School, each child will develop a love of learning and a positive attitude towards their education. Through these shared values each child will achieve their full potential and become a responsible citizen in the future.
At St Michael’s Primary School we seek to nurture the whole child and instil a love of learning by inspiring young minds within a happy, caring community based on the Christian values of love; joy; kindness; peace; self-control and faithfulness.
The Christian values permeate every aspect of school life and beyond, underpinning the School Behaviour Policy. Our links with the Church have grown and strengthened throughout the last 150 years and continue to do so.
Homewood School & Sixth Form Centre aims to provide a vibrant world class learning experience, we have over 2500 students and 250+ staff members that always strive for excellence.
We work as a team, learning in partnership with each other and the wider community.
We provide flexible learning opportunities and have high aspirations for all.
Home Farm Children's Nursery is a friendly, caring and secure environment, where all children have fun learning through exciting and challenging programmes of activity and high quality play; where professional staff work with families to nurture each child's potential and develop their self confidence and personal self esteem for life.'
